Autonomous XII
“Autonomous X12” A self-driving car sculpture by James Georgopoulos, this installation features the chassis of a prototype driverless car outfitted with multiple cameras and video screens. The screens display real-time data collected by the vehicle’s AI "brain," illustrating how machines perceive and interact with their environment.
Zeus
"Zeus" This video sculpture by James Georgopoulos is a replication of a quantum computer (e.g. a D-Wave Systems computer) that loudly “beats” with a recording of the artists’ own heartbeat. The monolithic sculpture evokes Deep Blue, the IBM chess computer that beat Garry Kasparov in a 1996 match.
